The Air Force is preparing to increase combined JASSM and LRASM production from roughly 1,100 to as many as 3,300 missiles a year.
An amended acquisition notice supports up to 16,450 missiles over the next five to seven years.

Several of these supplier sites are materially tied to the program. At the relevant Williams International, Wyman-Gordon, Nammo Composite Solutions and Chemring Energetic Devices sites, more than 80% of the FY21-FY25 defense subcontract value captured in our published analysis was associated with JASSM/LRASM.
Tripling production therefore requires more than additional final assembly at Lockheed Martin. It requires suppliers across propulsion, sensors, warheads, composites, navigation and energetics to increase throughput ahead of and alongside final assembly. For sites already heavily exposed to JASSM/LRASM, that would represent a material increase in scale.
