Capacity expansion
L3Harris is expanding Camden through four new solid rocket motor production facilities, supported by a $215.6M Defense Production Act Title III cooperative agreement.
Title III is the industrial-base authority used to expand domestic production capacity for critical defense materials, components and technologies.
The funded work is aimed at rocket-propulsion capacity: facilities, equipment, automation, production flow and the qualified manufacturing base behind missile output.
