Who supplies the MQ-25? Inside the Navy's first production lot
Published September 29, 2026 / MQ-25 Stingray supply chain
The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing $562 million for the first low-rate production lot of the MQ-25A Stingray.
The contract covers three Lot 1 aircraft and long-lead components for three additional aircraft planned under Lot 2. Initial deliveries are expected in 2029.
Boeing will perform 56% of the work in St. Louis. The remaining 44% is distributed across Torrance, Indianapolis, Quebec, McKinney, Ontario and several smaller locations.
Mimir's FY2021-FY2025 data provides a clearer view of the supplier operations positioned behind that production footprint.

Positive first-tier subcontract obligations, FY2021-FY2025
Under Boeing's engineering and manufacturing development award, Mimir identifies 234 first-tier supplier sites and approximately $287 million in mapped subcontract obligations.
Some of the largest specialist positions included:
Rolls-Royce
Indianapolis, Indiana
AE 3007N propulsion
Rolls-Royce manufactures the MQ-25's AE 3007N engine in Indianapolis.
BAE Systems
Endicott, New York
Vehicle management and IFF
BAE Systems supplies the vehicle-management control system and identification friend-or-foe system.
Collins Aerospace
Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Mapped systems activity
Mimir records show a substantial systems position associated with the Cedar Rapids operation.
Moog
Torrance, California
Wing actuation and wingfold
Moog supplies the wing flight-control actuation and wingfold actuation systems.
Raytheon
McKinney, Texas
Mapped systems activity
The McKinney operation appears as a first-tier systems position beneath Boeing's development award.
Héroux-Devtek
Longueuil, Quebec
Complete landing-gear system
Héroux-Devtek was selected by Boeing to supply the complete MQ-25 landing-gear system.
From contract geography to supplier operations
Several of the locations disclosed for Lot 1 align with supplier operations already visible in the development records, including Moog in Torrance, Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, Raytheon in McKinney and Héroux-Devtek in Quebec.
The first production lot is relatively small. But it begins converting years of development work into recurring aircraft production.
For companies tracking MQ-25 opportunities, the relevant customer map extends beyond Boeing's final assembly operation. It includes the propulsion, flight-control, landing-gear, avionics and mission-system suppliers already positioned beneath the aircraft - and potentially the sub-tier companies supplying them.

Mimir analysis of positive first-tier subcontract obligations under MQ-25 engineering and manufacturing development award N0001918C1012, FY2021-FY2025. Supplier sites are defined by CAGE where available and by supplier name and location where a CAGE was unavailable. Figures are rounded. These development records are not a confirmed Lot 1 supplier list. The Navy describes the production award as a $562 million fixed-price-incentive contract; the contract notice records a $552.1 million not-to-exceed undefinitized modification.
