Terms of Service
Last updated: February 10, 2026
1) Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Mimir website, applications, dashboards, and services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2) The Service and data sources
The Service provides market intelligence derived from publicly available US Government records and other lawful open sources. The Service may include summaries, visualisations, analytics, and AI-generated explanations based on the underlying dataset.
The Service is informational and does not constitute legal, investment, procurement, export-control, or compliance advice.
3) Sensitive-industry usage (important)
Many customers operate in regulated and sensitive environments. To protect both parties:
- Do not upload, submit, or transmit classified information, export-controlled technical data, or any information you are not authorised to disclose.
- Do not use the Service to attempt to obtain non-public, restricted, or improperly disclosed information.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies (including export controls where relevant).
4) Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and all activity under your account.
- You may not share accounts outside your organisation or bypass seat/plan limits where applicable.
5) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service except as explicitly allowed.
- Attempt to access non-public areas, accounts, or systems without authorisation.
- Use the Service to create or improve competing products using automated extraction.
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights.
Reasonable exporting (e.g., CSV/Excel) may be available on certain plans and is governed by plan limits and fair use expectations.
6) Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in writing.
7) AI features and disclaimers
Some features may use automated summarisation or AI-generated text. These outputs can be incorrect or incomplete. You should verify critical details against the underlying records and your own due diligence processes.
8) Intellectual property
The Service (including its software, design, interfaces, and compiled datasets/structure) is owned by Mimir and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Public records remain public; however, the curation, normalisation, and presentation layers may be protected.
Subject to these Terms and your subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.
9) Confidentiality
We treat customer account data and non-public communications as confidential and will not disclose them except as described in the Privacy Policy or required by law. You are responsible for ensuring that your own use of outputs from the Service complies with your confidentiality obligations.
10) Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be complete, accurate, or current. Public-source data can contain omissions, delays, and inconsistencies.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mimir will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amounts paid by you to Mimir in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, or use the Service in a manner that could harm Mimir or others. Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops.
13) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
