Two XM30 finalists. Two largely separate prototype supplier bases.

The US Army is approaching the production competition for the XM30, its planned replacement for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
Its current acquisition forecast schedules a production solicitation for Q1 FY2027 and an award in Q3 FY2027.
The two remaining teams are led by American Rheinmetall and General Dynamics Land Systems.

Mimir-mapped first-tier supplier sites, FY2023-FY2025
Mimir's FY2023-FY2025 data identifies 85 first-tier supplier sites across the two teams, associated with approximately $428 million in mapped subcontract awards. Only four sites appeared in records under both competing teams.
Team-specific supplier positions
American Rheinmetall
Selected suppliers appearing under one prototype team in Mimir's records
General Dynamics Land Systems

Four suppliers appeared under both prototype teams
The shared positions cover tracks, ammunition handling, power conversion and exhaust systems.
The XM30 downselect will therefore choose more than a prime contractor and vehicle design. Based on the prototype supply chain visible today, it will also determine which of two largely separate supplier networks moves toward production.

Mimir analysis of positive first-tier subcontract records under the XM30 Phase 3 and Phase 4 contracts, FY2023-FY2025. Supplier counts refer to identified contracting sites, not total companies. Values are rounded. The prototype-stage network visible in reported subcontract records does not represent a final production sourcing commitment and may change before Phase 5.
